NCLEX-RN "select all that apply"

I took the NCLEX-RN 2-4-12. I had at least 40% that were "select all that apply". I had a total of 75 questions and it took me 1 hour 10 minutes. I was of course panicking because select all that apply are my absolute weakness! At one point I had 5 in a row. The whole time I kept thinking that i had to be failing! I immediately emailed my Kaplan instructor and she said those are considered harder level questions. She said that it was a good sign that I kept getting those type of questions. Found out the next day that I passed. So if you are in this situation, do not panic like I did!

I did over 1500 Kaplan questions and missed most of the select all that apply questions! I thought that i for sure failed NCLEX! Even after doing the Pearson clue trick and getting the good message, I felt that there was no way I could pass with so many select all questions! If you see a lot of select all questions stay positive during the test and after! Hope this helps!!

I head that the SATA questions were a bit "easier" on the actual NCLEX than on practice questions. What is your opinion on that??

I thought that the select all questions were the same as the practice questions. They were my weakness on kaplan and I thought they were hard on nclex as well. However, with that being said.. I must have been getting them right because I kept getting more? I'm not sure though.

CONGRATULATIONS! I'm taking mine this Friday and the anxiety is getting to me right now. SATAs are my weakness too. I'm happy that it went well for you! Again, congrats!

Took mine last friday, had 33 on my NCLEX. Very first question was one. Made me feel better though because I had heard that the SATA were harder and it was good if you were getting them. Test stopped at 75. Got the good pop up right after. Paid for quick results Sunday, said I passed. Name posted on BON early this morning :)

Thanks for info....SATA sounds like are most of our weakness. When I think I have it down the next time I try is either 1 extra or 1 under! I'm testing in under a week now.... so nervous!!

Does anyone know of a good select all that apply practice book to use

Just took NCLEX-RN yesterday, I kept a tally of how many SATA questions I received...I had 30! :no: And then I also had 6 drag and drop, 1 cardiac rhythm (which was also SATA), and then 1 picture out of 75 questions. When the test shut off at 75 I was in a way relieved (since I had that many SATA), but then I was like crap if I failed I didn't have a chance to even prove myself with that many SATA!! :banghead: So now I am playing the waiting game...I would do the PVT, but I am too nervous to do it and see the CC page (I took nclex before and was near passing standard & the PVT killed my mood). Hopefully I passed! Because it would be torture to get 30 SATA questions again!
