Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

Hello everyone, I'm new to the site.

I just found out I failed with 85 questions. This was my 5th time and I feel so stupid. I don't know what I am doing wrong. First time I took it I got 130 questions. 2nd-205, 3rd-205, 4th-205 and 5th-85. I have tried Kaplan, Exam Cram, NCSBN 3 week PN review and NCLEX PN content review guide from Amazon. I just feel like maybe I am not meant to be a nurse. I really need your guy's HELP...

I know a person who did not pass NCLEX-RN until the 6th try. There are refresher classes that you can take that may be a great aide in refreshing some knowledge you may have forgotten or simply getting your brain back in test taking mode. Have the other people in your class had any trouble passing?

thank you so much for your support and almost everyone in our class passed except like 2 people.

thank you :) I have always been bad test taker.

hello, i too, have recently took the NCLEX PN for the first time and had 85 questions, i got my results in the mail yesterday and found out i passed. i think NCSBN learning extension was great with questions. good luck and please don't give up!

For the LPN exam I used Saunders flashcards and Mosby book, but I started studying before nursing school even started. This way, lectures and clinicals were a sort of reinforcement. I did the same for the RN exam, but I piled on more study tools after graduation. If you really want to be a nurse don't give up. Review all your notes from class and clinicals, make sure you know your lab values and consequences, and do take a refresher course, as a previous poster advised. Good luck.
