Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

Yes! I passed! TO GOD BE THE GLORY! I studied my ass off but still wouldn't made it without Papa God guiding me all the way.

First off, if I (average student) was able to pass NCLEX then you will too!

I sat down for 6 hours hungry, feeling cold, and in the peak of crying because the exam is abusive mentally. It wasn't easy I swear but with the help of preparation and prayers anyone can pass it with no doubt. After exam I was in shock for how many hours and when I couldn't help it anymore I decided to do the "PVT" and got "THE BAD POP UP" can you just imagine how depress I was??? Yep I was hella tearful BUT still convincing myself that its not yet the official result, just the PVT trick. Before heading to bed I still prayed and ask Papa God to wake me up the following day with a USRN on my name (although I got the bad pop up) and was trying to tell myself that whatever happens I put up a good fight so I should move on. Following day I woke up and grab my phone still thinking of the result of course (I don't even think I slept lol) I searched the Florida result link and try to check if result will be up and to my surprise I saw PASS behind my name. HolyMacaROni! Is this for real?! I stand up and redo the link, put my info, and YES I PASSED! ME! USRN! I was jumping in joy and told everyone in the house! I was crying too haha! So yes NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE WITH GOD. HAVE FAITH AND NEVER LET GO OF HIS HAND, KEEP HOLDING ON.

SECOND PART OF MY STORY - MATERIALS I USED - RESULT

I used Saunders book way back December and read it little by little and understand it. It was indeed a good book and easy to read. I also bought PDA La Charity which according to the people here in site is very help and I totally agree! I just answer the First part though not the case study. And HURST the reason how I understand every concept and relation of this disease to these symptoms etc. My content investment to be exact. Kaplan Q Bank for 1 month $50 challenging and strategy wise kind of material. I finish Kaplan in 2 weeks since I was doing 150 questions/day and I was panicking cause I still have a week to go before NCLEX and I know I can't be vacant. So thanks to the this site I asked for any suggestions on what to do and one person in here serves as my angel and told me to use UWORLD for a week free trial (whoever you are THANK YOU and I hope you read this) and it was awesome, UWORLD's ratio is very helpful that you don't even have to goggle it if in case you don't know what they are talking about in the question. To top if off I DID NOT GET A CONSISTENT 60+ score on Kaplan (as they want you to have) and not even once at UWORLD! HILARIOUS I KNOW! BUT then again WHO CARES ABOUT THE SCORE, WHAT MATTERS IS THAT EVERY MISTAKE AND RATIONALIZATION THAT YOU GET YOU LEARN!

So don't ever! ever! let low scores drag you down ok?! take it from me please READ THE RATIO AND UNDERSTAND WHY YOU DID OR DIDN'T GOT THE ANSWER RIGHT.

Hope I somehow made you feel light with my story. If you bumped on a wrong spelling or grammar well then my bad not an English major here just want to help so :)

PS: I also got a 35 pages handout in here that helped me a lot. I will try to look for it again and paste it for the FUTURE USRN/COLLEAGUE in there. YOU CAN DO IT!

YOU CAN DO IT! STAY POSITIVE! PRAY PRAY PRAY!

Congrats! Hopefully tomorrow morning I will finally be able to call myself a nurse and put the RN after my name.

The Pearson trick is hit and miss. I have seen it is possible for those to get the "bad" popup but then come to find out they passed. Usually though, in my experience, if you get the "good" popup after 24 hours then that is a good sign.

Thank you! and just be positive RN will soon be in your name :)

Praise God from whom all blessings flow. Congrats on a job well done.

Thank you! God bless always!
