just took nclex

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

I just took NCLEX test today and the computer shut off at 160. I'm so nervous because there is no way to know if that means I was doing well so it shut off, or if I was doing so bad it shut off. I can't stand not knowing considering my life depends on this, afterall isn't this what we struggle through nursing school and it all comes down to this one test. I'm just glad that it's over with now there's just the waiting...

Congratulations you two!

I checked on the pearsonvue website and it said status pass...what a relief!!! I know they're unofficial results but that still means passing right? Good luck to everyone...

How did you check ur test results with pearson vue? I took the test in california, is that the quick result? Pls. help me, I've been waiting for 3 weeks for the results and I just want to get it over with!

California does not participate in Pearson VUE's Quick Results, unfortunately.

Hello Fil, you can go to www.rn.ca.gov and go to "permanent license verification" on the bottom right corner. Type in your first and last name. They say it's not 100% accurate but many test takers found out they passed this way because if you did, your name will appear with a license# beside it :) I hope it helps. Goodluck!

Yes, this is true for those who provided a US SSN during the application.

If you passed, your name will appear there. It's usually there within a week, but could be up to 2-3 weeks. After 3-4 weeks and your name is still not there you would prob. get a std. ground letter instead.

For those who does not have a US SSN for reasons of not being a US citizen, CA BRN will mail your results usually within 2-3 weeks (US address) and up to 3-5 weeks for foreign address.
