what book do you recommend for me to study nclex?

I checked the CA -BRN this morning and found out i PASSED!:yeah: im so relieved. this was my second time taking it and the first one took the wind out of my sails. With God nothing is impossible guys. I read the Saunders book from cover to cover and read the ATI OB book because i knew i was weak on it. I did at least 200 questions a day on NCLEX 4000 and then I did Kaplan Online Course. I was getting 61-71% on my qTrainers. It was really excellent a lot of the questions were similar on the NCLEX. Keep reviewing the rationales and read up on what your weak on. Thanks for the support all!

I took my nclex-rn test today. I am sure I flunked it. I feel like such a failure. I got 75 questions and then they stopped. I know I was doing terrible. I did not get even one math or IV question.

I took the nclex-lpn last year and passed with the minimum number of questions and felt, at that time, my results could go either way - pass or fail. This year, with my RN, I just feel like I have failed.

I could cry.

its my third time this june ifever so just imagine how long ive been reviewing and how many times i cried. failure is part of success. so learn to stand up ifever u feel like ur falling. still stay positive. u are not alone. :heartbeat

Found out today that I passed!!! I was so worried over nothing. So here is my advice to all of you that are worried sick over this exam--- every one of my friends that took the exam that day with me were convinced that they failed. There isn't one person I know that walks out of that room and says "hey that wasn't so bad-- I think I passed." So don't lose hope and hold your head high because there is a good probability that you passed. The day of my exam I was a complete mess afterwards... I cried all the way home and didn't know what I would do if I lost my job because of being such a complete idiot. I felt as if I didn't know half of the crap on the test, but everyone else has told me they felt the same way. If you do fail, don't give up and try again. You've come this far and there is no reason for you to back down now!

Good luck to everyone taking the test soon and don't mope around for 2 days like I did because you probably did just fine!!!

Oh and try the "Pearson Vue Trick"-- it worked for me too.

I just want to offer some encouragement...

I took the NCLEX-RN yesterday, got 75 questions, and was pretty sure I failed. 14 (seriously, I kept track) select-all-that-apply questions, multiple questions on diseases I had barely heard of, or knew *very* little about, multiple questions where at least 3 of the choices seemed right and basically had to hope/guess, etc.

When I took the NCLEX-PN last summer, I got the minimum questions, and though it was tough, I felt much more confident than I did after this one.

Found out this morning that I passed! I'm an RN!

My last week of school consisted of an 5-day NCLEX review by an outside agency, and a couple of tips they gave were helpful to me, so I'll pass 'em on. Assessment always comes before intervention. Know your tubes.(Especially chest tubes!) Know SIADH vs DI and Addisons vs Cushings. Know infection control measures... unfortunately for uncommon infections as well as "classics" like TB and MRSA.

Good luck to all!

PS: I also didn't get a single dosage calculation question -- I was all geared for those, too!

I graduated on May 17, in CA. I didn't have to wait for my ATT. I paid my fees for licensing the beginning of the yr. After graduation, I went onto pearson vue and registered and paid for the test. After about 30 mins. I received the ATT from them in the email, I gave them. After that I scheduled my test date. I tested on June 3, and I am anxiously waiting for my results. Hope this helps.
