It has begun, my road to NCLEX domination!

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

Hello Everyone,

I graduated from Nursing school w/BSN in November and it has been a wild ride. My wife just had our 3rd child right after graduation and my other 2 children had winter break so it was really hard to get motivated to study. My wife (who just got her first job as an ER nurse last week!!!) told me about this site and said it was really helpful and the support given to her on here was uncanny.

I am currently using Kaplan to get ready for nclex. I've watched all the content videos which were very boring but gave me a good review and now im going to watch the review of question videos. After that it will be reading notes and question, questions, questions! If there are any other tips about Kaplan that i should know please share.

i will be looking through the site more in depth throughout my month of preperation but Please if there are any tips and tricks i should know about the NCLEX and nclex preperation or even Kaplan secrets like links to other threads on here (i know there are a vast amount of info) please let me know. I really dont want to miss anything.

Well, i am very happy my wife introduced me to this and best of luck to everyone else who is preparing for the biggest test of our lives. We got this! Stay motivated!!!!!

check out NCLEX 3500 in addition to Kaplan because it's all alternative style questions... Kaplan doesn't provide enough of those

Use every QBank, every trainer and every question possible. The more questions you do, the better off (in my opinion) you'll be

Do as many questions as you can. Understand why you got the question incorrect. I wrote down my rationales and reviewed them before I went to sleep. Know your labs and EKG's. Good luck!

i checked out the nclex 3500 and i will be using that following kaplan. i have the labs written on index cards and will be reading those everynight before bed. thanks again!
