hi im new!

hello everybody!

i just discovered this website, and i was impressed by how positive and encouraging everybody is so i decided to sign up! (lord knows i need some positivity!)

i am a recent graduate from nursing school, and i have scheduled my nclex for next week (im freaking out!!!). i know that i have the smarts, but i am so nervous, i dont know what to do with myself ( i actaully had a dream of me passing out during the nclex). its gotten to the point where i feel sick to my stomach everytime i think about taking it.

does anybody have any tips?!?

First tip: read through lots of threads, you'll see the same questions over and over, lol.....we are an anxious little lot!

I take my exam next week too :)

There are some excellent tips here. I also added some tips to the sticky thread NCLEX tips. I think i'm on the last page. LOL. Good luck

hello and welcome....this site is very cool...you have those that are positive and with more "research" you will also see negatives...but yes there are many here who give support...this is what we're here for...Good luck on your test...I'll give you this as advice...Nclex is a test that you have never seen or taken in your life!...everything you prepare for will go out the window with this exam...my experience was crazy...all i can say is "KNOW YOUR BASICS!"..like electrolyte leves, infection control, and priority..thats it...the rest would be yor OWN common sense...i wish you the best...may god be with you!...XOXO
