Please make sure that u sleep ok. dont be like me because i didnot sleep all night long. I failed. A lot of Infection control though. Good Luck and dont be nervous u can do it. Make sure to get the rest and fresh up ur mind.

Hi where did u take the exam. I am so upset i took it for the first time and did not make it. I am sure that u must have been hard when u did not make it the first time also right. After how long u took it again for the 2 time. What did u do different the 2 time. Thanks mommy 2tees

don't want to hijack this thread but you wanted to know what i did different....well the 1st time was dec. 2011. i lost my mom a few months earlier in august. i thought i was ready to take on the nclex beast, but mentally i wasn't ready. i still had a lot of things going trying to help my dad to adjust as he is not in ny. it wasn't easy. when things kind of settled down i began to study like crazy again. 1st time around i didn't do any practice questions...this time i did from 50-100 questions a day using saunders and nclex 3000. i did hurst review online and listened to feuer cd's in the car all the time. i read positive posts and kept saying i will pass this time. last time i took the test at 4pm. looking back, that was probably too late to be taking the nclex for me. and i am not a morning person. so this time i was able to get a 2pm slot. you also asked where did i test? i took it in connecticut but i live in ny. i hope i was able to answer your questions.

I am taking it on Monday too but early in the morning! Like you, this is my first time taking the PN test and I can definitely relate. I feel the way you do....at this point, I don't know if there's anything left I can do. I've been studying here and there (every other day) with people, by myself since April. I'm tired of answering questions of "the first priority" or side effects of meds, or positions that will prevent vs. promote anything.... I wish I can give you more advice but since we're in the same boat, I just want to say "good luck". Remember not to rush, trust your gut, first instinct is always right, and if you've gotta be there for the full 5 hours just to pass, it's worth it :) Good luck! I'll be praying for both of us!!!

when you mentioned that is nothing like you expected. was it a lot harder or easier than you expected.
