Hats and ear muffs at NCLEX?

I am very prone to visual and audio distraction during exams.

At school, I wore a baseball cap that I could pull the brim down so all I saw was the paper or computer screen and didn't see anyone in my peripheral walking around, tapping their pencil, writing, etc.

I also wore 26dB hearing protection AND ear plugs so I didn't hear coughs, sneezes, scribbling, clicking, typing, the door opening, people in the hall, etc.

Can I wear these at NCLEX?

they dont allow hats in the testing area unfortunately, i am the same way, and they have your basic ear plugs that they offer to you. literally the only thing u can bring in the testing room is yourself and the clothes you are wearing.

Yup thats correct. Just yourself, the clothes you have on, your id and your locker key. You can't even bring Chapstick or wear a watch!

Is flip flops allowed to use or it should be shoes or sandals... I can bring jacket right? Thnks

At my testing center-they offered the standard put in ear-ear plugs- huge headphones to listen to audio clips and then another pair of huge headphones that were supposed to make the sound seem less-they almost looked identical to your picture.

Yes you can wear flip flops and yes you can bring a jacket
