"Aw yeah, I rocked that"? Just wondering. Every. single. person. I know who has taken it was convinced they failed. No exceptions. Sure, they had some questions that they knew the answer to, but overall? Every one went home and planned an extra shift or two to pay for another round.

Not me. After the PN nclex I started to apply at retail jobs because I just KNEW I had failed. When I was completely shocked to learned I passed. I'm still shocked two years later. Hardest test of my life...

Now in a few months I will be taking the RN nclex Lord willing.

I had a roller coaster of emotions while I was taking my NCLEX-PN. Some questions I knew, others I felt so-so about, and some I just wanted to cry while I answered them. It took me 2.5 hours to answer 86 questions before it cut me off. When I left the exam room I felt pretty good over all. I didn't feel like I failed. The next morning at 8:20am I checked the Oregon State Board of Nursing website to see...I WAS A NEW NURSE! I didn't think I failed because I was so close to 85 questions the least amount you could answer and still pass or fail. I noticed after watching a bunch of my classmates that they were passing more at lower numbers. I figured if I was sucking then they would keep asking me more questions. That's how I felt after my NCLEX.
