Good pop up and remar review

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

I took my nclex today for the second time. I used the remar review only this time. I didn't even do questions. When taking the test, for questions I was unsure of, I used ABC then nursing process and then maslows. I took one hour to answer 85 total questions. Almost every single question, with the exception of one (EKG) was in the remar review. From studying the remar review, I knew the answers or at least partially and could narrow it down, for every single question.

As soon as I left the testing center, I got into my car, made sure my test said delivery successful, and got the GOOD POP UP.

Diligence and prayer is key. Staying focused was hard but I took a deep breath and said a short prayer when I felt overwhelmed and at the 85the question, I knew I wasn't getting any more questions cause I knew for certain, based off my knowledge from the remar review, that I was answering them correctly.

I had 1 EKG, NO math at all, a ton of maternity and psych questions, 5 about disease processes, 1 med, and a ton of priority or patient teaching. I had a few delegation. 1 drag and drop, 3 exhibits, no hot spots, and I swear probably at least 60 SATA.

If I can do it, you can too!

Congratulations RN!!! I'm so nervous about mine Tuesday.

Congrats :) YAAAAY! I'm so happy for you. I knew you could do it. I prayed for you as well this morning. It's my turn tomorrow morning. I didn't do remar but I did the Hurst review. I feel pretty confident. I finished my Kaplan QTs this morning (QT5-63,QT6-63,QT7-61). I'm so excited and a little nervous but I know God will bless my efforts the same way He blessed yours :) Congrats again RN!

I promise you ill say a prayer for you as we'll. don't be scared. Every time you get anxious, stop, close your eyes and take a deep breath. It recollects your thoughts and really helps. I know you will pass! Look at this like any other thing you've done, not like an evil devil out to get you. And remember, it's a minimum competency test, think safety. :)

How were the SATAs? Were they easier than other practice tests? 60 out of 85 are alot:nailbiting:

Take what I'm going to say lightly. I found the SATA to be VERY easy but... that's because it was on content that I knew well. There were 2 that I didn't know really well and just did a process of elimination from what I knew about the topic. Treat the SATA's as true or false. Each answer, look at it as individual and say that is true/false. and either click it or eliminate it and move on. As I said, I used the REMAR review and I honestly believe I wouldn't have passed without that. Every single thing I saw on my test was in that review. Her review is concise, to the point, and ONLY what you need to know for the nclex. Not all the other drawn out blah blah blah's that other books use. If you're looking for a review, in my opinion, that's the way to go. :)

CONGRATULATIONS!! I am so happy for you.I am also using the Remar review and had a doubt whether it will be enough or not.You helped me to clear all the doubt i had.Thank you so much and wishing you all the best for your future.

How did you study it? For example, how many times did you watched the DVDs and how many times you go through the quick facts?

Also did you do her practice exam?
