Failed my NCLEX RN exam (Graduated 11 years ago)

Nursing Students NCLEX

Hi everyone! I need your recommendations I recently took my nclex rn exam and failed it the first time. I didn't prepared myself enough... I only took a week off from my work to focus on studying because I am pregnant (7 months) I have a full time job as an LVN plus I think I have a short term memory.

What worked for me in the pass when I took my NCLEX LVN exam was reading saunders and attended a comprehensive review but didn't really finished the whole course as I felt like it's too much. So back then what really had helped me passed my nclex LVN the second time was to do self study by just answering qbanks from kaplan and saunders.

I think with NCLEX RN it's much more harder especially that I graduated many years ago... 11 years to be exact. Working as an LVN in cardiology office had helped me but not really. I mean NCLEX RN is way harder than the LVN exam.

Any suggestions? I did tried Uworld too but I only did like 700 questions and self assessment rated my score as "Low chance" but I still took the nclex rn exam anyway and true enough I failed.

I am asking for any good recommendations? suggestions?

Thanks!

Redo Uworld making sure you understand every rationale right or wrong & lacharity PDA

Also if you're able to I would recommend purchasing Hurst Review and use it with Uworld. I think that will help you a lot ... I've been out of school for 12 years and recently pass the NCLEX Pn ... I had to take a remedial in order to become eligible again in the state of Florida but it can be done. You definitely have to put in the hard work ...
