Do you think I passed?

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

I have heard that there are many ways to tell if you have passed the nclex.

Well I just took my nclex-pn exam and the computer cut off at 85. I had mostly priority type questions and patient education questions. No math. The questions were not that hard to me , but they were not easy either.

My question is there any way I can tell if I passed. I know that they said that there is no way to tell, but I am interested in hearing what other people may know. I am about to freak out because I do not know my results (because I stay in Mississippi and they do not participate in the quick results) and I just wanted to post this thread for fun to see what others may think in regard to determining if they passsed. So if you read this thread and have heard of ways to tell please share. And once again it is just for fun to help me ease my nerves until i receive my result. Thanks kindly

Nclex is very sneaky..so I wouldnt know, but I recently took the test and I know how anxious you might feel, but thank God, I was able to get my results quickly and I did pass. For experience, I also had almost the same numbers of questions as you , and none of them were math questions, lots of priority and meds. I was shocked there were no math questions, this was my second try at the nclex and last time I did had a few. For some reason, I did feel confident, but didnt want to say it. Take a deep breath..if you study and feel anxiously good...you should trust that...in the mean time, take some time off and keep your mind busy on something else...Best of luck!!!!

They're right. No way to tell until you see the results. The number of questions doesn't tell you that you passed or failed. The presence or absence of any type of question doesn't tell you that you passed or failed.

Good luck to you. Let us know how it turns out.

I just took my NCLEX yesterday morning and it shut off at 75 qestions. I felt sick to my stomach. I also live in MIssissippi and have been told that you can go to the Mississippi Board of Nursing website, then go to nurse inquiry and type in your last four digits of your SSN and last name and if a number (your liscense #)pops up then you passed. Also I've been told they put them in on Thursday at midnight. Oh course, all these are all rumors. But hey, give them a try. I'm doing it myself. :o
