CPR report, Hurst

Nursing Students NCLEX

So I got my CPR and got all near passing except psychosocial Integrity where I got below. I didn't get any above passing however it says if you get 265 and failed it was close to passing standard! This confuses me and I feel so much better and more and more prepared since switching from ATI to Hurst. I'm reregistering tomorrow and acting on a new slate and not looking back! I think the only other book I plan on getting is the Lippencott strategies that has the CATA and alternative formats along with their Q&A book I already have. I really don't know what I'll do if I don't pass again!!!

I got the whole 265 the first time and was near passing in all except pharm. That means you were close but lacked some critical thinking. This time I got 265 again and passed praised the lord it was much harder this time for sure.

Hi,

I would definitely recommend Prioritization, Delegation, and Assignment: Practice Exercises for the NCLEX Examination, 2e by Linda LaCharity because I feel as though the questions in this book really mirrored the formatting of the real NCLEX. It served as a great guide and feel into feeling more confident about the exam. It is broken up into chapters with topics such as oncology, hematology etc. What my suggestion is to get a great content review book such as Saunders, read up on a certain subject and then do the questions that correspond to the topic you have reviewed for the day. For example, in Saunders if I read about Oncology, I would then correspondingly do the La Charity oncology chapter for the day.

I also used Lippincott's NCLEX-RN Alternate-Format Questions 5e (Point (Lippincott Williams & Wilkins)) to help me with select all the apply questions. Although I would get a lot wrong, it still helped me really get into the feel for answering select all the apply questions and gave me a little perspective on how to answer. I truly felt like it helped me the day of the real exam.

I used HURST for content review, but if that is something you are not able to spend money on right now, I think Saunder's is a great option for content review and much cheaper to buy from Amazon or borrow from the library.

I used Kaplan for their question bank and online review class. I felt as though the online review class did not really help me much as their strategies can be found online for free. However, I think the qbank and the trainers really mimicked the difficulty level of the real nclex.

hiya hurst is free if you google it!

Hi there!

Thanks for the info! I am currently doing the Hurst online and LOVE it!!! I am also planning on seeing a hypnotist for test anxiety as I have heard from 2 different Nurses it worked for them! One of the Nurses had failed 3 times and it was do or die for her and she passed after seeing the hypnotist. She said she had some anxiety but it was more normal and helped her organize her thoughts better! I find I am doing much better with this ATI app the more Hurst review I do, the better I do on quizzes!!! Love it!

Hey honey! sorry i didnt write a longer message!!! i suffered from test anxiety in school and guess what? i realized watching or looking forward to something like a tv show or something....but i also find yoga or soft instrumentals help...first try that before you seek professional help you know? exhaust all of what Kell Bell knows will clam her. and yes darling Hurst review is the bestest. buttt i also suggest you do kaplan question trainers which is the cornerstone according to me for the nclex. they are also available online search kaplan question trainers pdf or something like this

you are gonna ACE this monster!
