Has anyone taken the NCLEX and actually walked out feeling confident, like they passed? Everything I read says that almost EVERYONE thinks they failed and felt dishearted and crushed. Just curious if anyone ever feels good about themselves after the exam. I'm taking it tomorrow morning so hopefully I'll walk out feeling good.

I did, which makes me think I probably failed, got the good pop up but I am still skeptical

HAHAHAHAHAHAH! I studied my ass off, did so many damn questions, went over old notes, took the Hurst review, and did more math problems in a 3 week span than I had done in my entire life............

I too, told myself , "I'm sooo ready for this!" BA!!!!!

Sorry, this isn't to be negative, just honest.....THAT WAS THE MOST UNNERVING, DIFFICULT TEST I HAVE EVER TAKEN!

There were only 3 math problems, I got 265 questions, and I was 100% positive of the correct answer on maybe 10. However, I did pass. I would love it if I could get to see the exam after it was graded.

Please, read this advice and follow it, because I did not.........Get up and take a break if you are feeling overwhelmed. It took me hours, and I chewed all my dang nails off, I was wound up so tight walking out of there, I went straight to my mom's house and cried.

YOU WILL PASS, YOU WILL PASS!:heartbeat

Honestly, I felt great after I finished my test.

And then I started second-guessing myself and on the drive back home, I cried.

And then I realized that getting hard-as-hell questions means that most likely, you passed.

And then I checked online and I got the good pop-up.

So yeah, talk about bipolar. LOL.

I actually walked out of there knowing I passed. I honestly had a hard time distinguishing "easy" questions from "hard" questions, but when I was doing practice questions, I found myself generally doing better on the upper-level questions. Some of my nursing school exams had more difficult questions than NCLEX, which really surprised me. Good luck!

Some people say that they felt confident or that they thought the test was easy. Who cares how they feel after the test as long as they are successful? That's what I say.

Ditto on the bipolar. Throughout the day you'll start remembering questions and frantically googling them. Some you got right and others you didn't. Nature of the beast I say :)

I passed the NCLEX-PN with 85 questions. Took me about 30 minutes, and I thought it was one of the easiest tests I have ever taken. The staff at the Pearson center were surprised at the fact that I was smiling as I walked out the door.

Tomorrow I take RN, somehow I doubt I will have the same experience, but I hope so.

IDK if this answers you question, but I think the best thing to do in the days leading up to your exam are TAKE CARE OF YOU! Get a massage, go fishing, go for a hike, hydrate, eat well, TRY to sleep...
