ATI Live Review...is it helpful?

Nursing Students NCLEX

Hey everyone, so I just finished my nursing program (whoo hoo!) and our school is holding a 3 day live ATI review. So far it seems like it will be really helpful and has already cleared up some of my concerns. Here's the thing, prior to this course I bought 2 of the Saunder's Review books because I heard they were great. I don't want to overwhelm myself with too many different sources to study from. With the study plan I worked out based on the ATI review I won't be able to incorporate as much of Saunder's as I had planned. Anyone have experience with the ATI review, either live or online? Any advice would be appreciated, thanks!!

i am all about live reviews, is your ati an open review or just for your grad class? where?

Take any help you can get. ATI's live reviews were very good in my opinion. However, Kaplan's questions resembled the NCLEX the most...at least when I took them.

This live review is specifically for my graduating class, my school offers it at the end of each semester for that graduating class. It's short, only 3 days, but well worth my time. I've learned things about how to answer questions and little tricks that I would have never known had I skipped this class. Even if you can't do a live version, they also have virtual reviews (kindy pricey though). You can get more info at www.atitesting.com. Good luck!

I never had an ATI live review, but our school made us pay $425 for some stupid ATI book/DVD bundle that was supposedly going to help us pass the NCLEX. We all hated it and most of us didn't even read those books. I saved my money and just followed Suzanne4's plan (which is free!) and I passed on the first try.

She has a thread where she outlines the first part of her plan here, in case you're interested: https://allnurses.com/forums/f197/new-revised-first-tip-suzannes-plan-195774.html

Good luck!
