"We typically advise that our users aim for at least 60% of correct answers achieved through a full pass of our Qbank. However, UWorld can not guarantee that any particular percentage score on our products will result in a passing score on the actual NCLEX Exam."

Any other studying tips? My UWORLD average is 56%. I would love to get my average up there to 62%! What else did you use to study?

I used hurst and saunders. When is your exam?

Those are great averages! I answered the entire u world question bank, and my average was 51% then went back through my incorrect (only got through about 300 of them) brought it up to 52% and I passed my nclex 2nd attempt last week! You'll be just fine with those averages! Good luck!

I used UWorld and only answered about 600 questions. My scores ranged from 50's-80's with a 64% average. I also passed in 75 questions! Take your time with each question and definitely try to understand why your answer was wrong or right! Wishing you luck :)

hey hopeful, was uworld the only source you used?

I know this old, but seriously Uworld, you are crazy telling people 60% or above with your questions. Uworld questions are ridiculously hard and are too narrow on their focus.

I passed in 75 questions. I used many study aids. I never averaged over 60 on Uworld. I hit a 67 and a 62, but never averaged over 57.

Their questions are very content oriented. NCLEX is more about how safely you practice. Not about the steps of zeroing an art line or the specifics of a chest tube.

I felt I wasted my money with Uworld. The only thing it did was keep me in that mindset of NCLEX questions. Their style is the same, but way too specific.

oh wow, nurse girl, so world wasn't that helpful? when did you take the exam and how do you feel about kaplan

This is actually good to hear. I know everyone's different, but I'm praying tomorrow that the NCLEX format isn't as detail oriented as UWorld's questions!

Good luck!! You will leave feeling what the heck just happened to me on that test. You will feel you failed. I promise. But, after the terrible wait to see if you passed, you will begin to realize what NCLEX is about. It's about being a safe-entry level nurse. I got some really strange out there questions. But sit there and think about what the question is really asking you. If you can take the time to do that, you will be fine.

I felt Uworld focused on content way too much. Some of it, obscure content. I did less than half of their questions.
