48 hours until nclex!

I don't even know what i'm suppose to do at this point. Ive studied for 6 weeks. sometimes i feel ready then other days i'm so nervous. Med Surg questions make me feel stupid but then everyone says all the med surg in the word isn't going to matter because nclex isn't all disease process. Going back to studying Management, prioritzing and delegation.. don't know what to do 48 hours before!!! Help

just know the basics, a little bit of the common meds, labs, diseases. i would not study the day before the test. just have simple flash cards. Good luck! Stay positive and pray.

I definitely agree that you shouldn't do anything the day before! I relaxed with my husband all day and went for a walk the morning of. (My test time was 10am). At this point, you know what you are going to know and will probably freak yourself put more by trying to study because you will find things you don't know and it will make you nervous! You made it through nursing school, which is no easy task, so you are smart and you will be a nurse when it is all said and done!! You can do it. I would practice relaxation techniques at this point!

thanks you guys omg, i keep telling myself in less than 48 hours i'll be a nurse and not to sweat it but geez, even though i know most people pass nclex, i freak out reading about all the people who are on their 2nd 3rd 4th try! It's only minimum standards and most people i personally know passed. i think whats getting to me is all this med surg i'm trying to study. i know theres no way possible to know every disease process s/s. i'm excited and your right, by now i either know it or i don't. i have friends that didnt even study as hard as hard as i have and they passed nclex with minimum questions. Sometimes you get tired of studying and thats what happen with my friends and all of them passed. Since My test isnt until the afternoon i know that i'm probably gna crack open a book tomorrow when i come home from work. i can't help it Maybe i'll just go through some of the lab values for pediatrics and go over my insulins again. idk what i'm gna do tomorrow. I cant wait till this is over. I know I can pass this i'm just stuck in this whole med surg thing. I could do this you guys! thanks for the advise, im so excited and nervous! time for my last big tutoring session!!!
