2nd try failed @265 questions. Any advise?

  • 0Good day guys. I used uworld on my 2nd try, my exam ended at 265 question. I want to try again. Any advise guys? Which course or review materials or course are good to use? I graduated 7yrs ago and im from the phil. Thank you.

Why are you only on your second try after 7 years? Were you practicing in the Philippines in the meantime?

Look at it this way: you failed at 265 questions. That means you were too close to the pass/fail line for the computer to determine whether you had passed or failed and only failed because of a rule that looks at your "ability estimate" right at the end. I suspect that you probably know the material pretty decently well and can reasonably break the questions down to what the question is really asking you for. When you get your results, look closely at the areas you weren't all that good at (and it's probably going to be all at/near the pass/fail line), study those areas in particular as well as those areas you do well (so you don't lose knowledge there) and work on effectively parsing the questions.

You may very well be able to pass... Just don't worry yourself into failure.
