265! I'm going to lose my mind any minute! anyone get that same amount?

:uhoh21:

I have a feeling of doom right now. I tested today and I had 265 questions, which I was totally not expecting. I was totally prepared to get a little over 100 questions without getting anxious, that is not how it worked. I feel like I failed after going through all that studying I did. I had 10 math questions and I know for certain that I only got 2 of them. I won't find out my results until Thursday and I don't know what to do with mself until then. My thought is if you get 265 questions the computer did not determine if you passed/failed so once the test is completed how do they make a determination? I am soooo seriously trying to remain positive. I have hope and faith that something will work out for me, even if not this time.

So I just got home and it took me 265 questions. I know the feeling of doom and I wish I could shake it. I wasnt there for the full 5 hours just a little over 3 but I just dont know what to do with myself. I have to wait till Monday or Tuesday to find out and Im terrified. I took the ATI reveiw course and did so well on everything. By no means did I expect it to be easy I just expected it to turn off sooner. Im trying to stay positive but I just dont know. However after seeing what everyone posted I have some faith. All is not lost with 265 and I guess if i have to retake at least I will know what to expect. Does anyone know how long you have to wait to retest in NJ?

Wait for your results, you may have passed. Many pass with max number. Good luck

So I just got the results and I did not pass. Im trying to figure out where to go from here. I have already reregistered with Pearson vue and I have the nursing packet refilled out. I just dont know how to study or what to do differently. I contacted my review course coach and im waiting to hear from her to see what she suggests and I guess I will go from there. Trying to remain positive. At least I know what to expect going in there now. I guess I just hate waiting 45 days to retest but it will probably go by fast. I just have to remain hopeful and positive.

:banghead: I cannot believe I took all 265 questions! I had been doing so well on my practice tests from Kaplan but I failed my HESI 3 times (eek!). I kept bouncing back and forth from these "further teaching is necessary" to priority questions. And, sad to say, I even had a few of those "recall" questions. I don't know about those "further teaching" and "client understands if" questions... what level are those? High? Low? Ugh!!!

I don't know what to do!! I just lost it on the way home. I have a job waiting for me... I was just SURE I'd feel better about this. Any advice is appreciated!!!

I got a lot of those too!I got a lot of teachings, delegation, prioritization, etc. I even had more or less 10 math! I just found out this morning that i passed with 265 questions! I was certain i failed. i was even planning of taking the test after 45 days. But i asked God and Mama Mary for a miracle, I passed!

I was doing great on practice tests from kaplan, saunders, exam cram,la charity and nclex 3500. That's why i was hopeless when i got all 265. But hey! I passed! God is really good. Don't lose hope. It's possible to pass even if you got all 265. I'm one of those proofs. Leave everything in God's hand now..

God Bless!

It doesn't mean anything. I got 265 questions, and I know for a fact I got the last question wrong and I PASSED!!! Best Day of my life. People pass the boards with 75 questions and some with 265.

I dunno how I did it, but I PASSED!!!!!! :heartbeat

Congrats

I just took my test this morning for the second time. I got 265 questions and didn't pace myself so I was rushing at the end...not good! I don't think I can go through another 6 weeks of studying if I failed. I'm stressed out and really afraid to look at my results!

It does not matter anymore if you pass and does matter if someone failed :)

i took my exam today and i finished it at 265questions. i feel bad because this is my 4th time to take the exam. i'll just leave it to God's hands..... if it doesn't work out well i'll just try again until i succeed the important thing is don't lose hope if you want to reach out for your dreams....:-(
