1-1-13 starting to prepare for NCLEX ....Join me and lets encourage each other!

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

I graduated in May 2012 with my BSN! I needed to get my two children on track with homeschool before I focused on NCLEX preparations. 6 months later and the time has come! I will formally begin preparing for NCLEX as of 1-1-13. With God's mercy I plan to conquer NCLEX sometime in February.

If you find yourself in the same predicament or similar...join me and lets motivate and encourage one another. I will post daily as to what I studied and how many hours I've studied for. Please feel free to add any tips or suggestions as to what is working or not working for you. Good luck and God Bless!

I know I want to know the same thing!

Thank you! Maria and Dubs2012: I posted my experience on the other post we have been talking on! :)

Congrats! I just wanted to give you guys updates regarding my review. I have been using La Charity's PDA (I have 5 more chapters left), Mary ann Hogan's for content (questions are thought provoking references NCSBN review and questions). I have work until 6pm during weekdays so I study from 7 to 1am.

Il start mine too. Have faith and we can do it

I am starting to panic as my test date is getting closer (Feb. 7). I feel like I am far from being prepared, I am using Kaplan and Saunders to study. However, I have not been studying as much as others on this discussion...feel like I have been slacking.Having trouble staying motivated.

At this point I feel exactly they same I keep my books and study guides open all day and skim through the books of things I'm unfamiliar with but still feel as if I'm not retaining enough I have a short attention span which gets the best of me everytime :/

I'm so glad I found this thread. I graduated in June 2010 and failed the nclex-pn 3 times. Each time I failed, I would take time off before I get my study mode back. I am now scheduled for my 4th try on Feb 6, 2013 and I've been doing 100 questions a day using Exam Cram. When I am done with all their questions, I will move on the LaCharity.

Hi, guys! What Kaplan review are you talking about? I have only 2012-2013 prep book by Kaplan but it is so short and brief. What can you say about OHMA prep book?

Good luck to you! I also graduated in Puerto Rico at UAA. Try using the Saunders Review book. It has great content and tons of questions.

So exciting!! Keep up informed!
