SLU Accelerated BSN 2014

I applied to SLU's 2014 accelerated BSN program and am waiting nervously for some sort of response from SLU. I know it is early in the acceptance process, but wanted to start a 'thread' to help aggregate acceptance responses from SLU.

Hi I just read these comment left on allnurses. I just recently got into the Slu accelerated Accelerated BSN program for 2014! I'm coming from Omaha Nebraska where my husband and I matched for residency for his first year. He will do the remainder of his residency at SLU in ophthalmology. We are so excited to go to SLU but especially excited to be a part of the nursing program!:)

Is anyone coming from California? I got provisional admission as well but I also got accepted to schools in east coast and can't decide. SLU is definitely cheaper but anyone hear good things about SLU?

First time I've heard "SLU" and "cheaper" in the same sentence!

I'm currently enrolled in SLU's Accelerated Option. I know I had a lot of questions after I was accepted and seemingly no one to answer them. Feel free to PM me and I'll try and get back to you. It's a very busy time for me (as is ALL of the accelerated program) but I'll do my best to reply!

Hi! Congrats to all those accepted. I am looking into SLU's Accelerated BSN program and I was just wondering what your guys GPA's were, what degrees you previously earned, if you had previous experience in healthcare, etc. I would really appreciate any information :)
