U of Arizona MEPN 2015
I called and they said that there were more applicants than they thought there would be so it's taking more time to go through the applications I guess - but they said emails for interviews should be going out Monday afternoon :)

SLU Accelerated BSN starting in May 2013?
Hi! I am looking into SLU's ABSN program but not until May 2015 - I already have a BS from another university and just wanted to ask about pre-req's. I have all of them completed but I have a few B's so I do not know if I should retake those courses before applying . Would anyone be willing to share their gpa and if they had any experience in health care before applying? Any info would be great!

ASU Post-Bacc 2014
hi! I am thinking about applying for Spring 2015 since I am graduating with my undergrad in public health this may (2014). Do you guys have any tips for applying and what were your GPA's, if you don't mind me asking. I know it's a very competitive program, so congrats to those of you that got in for this spring and I hope your classes are going well!

University of Washington Accelerated BSN program Summer 2014
Congrats to all that applied and got in or on the wait list! I am looking at UW ABSN program for next summer (2015) but I am worried about my pre-req GPA. I know there are other factors to it but I was wondering if anyone that got into the program would be willing to share their GPA and such or direct message me. Completely understandable if you guys wanna keep that confidential, just wanted to ask! :) Again, Congrats to you guys!

Saint Louis University Generalist Masters
Ok, I have three people with letters of rec: an academic adviser, my current CNA job "manager," and my internship at Susan G. Komen adviser. I have been at SGK the longest so she would write a great letter, but who would you guys recommend I use for the second? I have only been at the CNA job for a little over a month but it has to do with healthcare so I am not sure if I should just use it anyways! Thanks for guys help!

New entry-level Masters program at U of A!!
Joshuapdv, okay that makes sense. I reached out to the College of Nursing at UoA asking about the degree awarded and they responded: "The degree is actually just a Master of Science degree, with a concentration in Entry to the Profession of Nursing. It is an entry level program for students who are not currently nurses, seeking initial RN licensure. Because of this the degree does not carry any specialties or advanced licensure or certification, such as CNL, but is designed to prepare students for the NCLEX-RN and can be considered comparable to an accelerated second bachelor’s program, although the coursework is at the graduate level." So what you said was correct. From my understanding, if you want to go to NP school later on, you would still have to go get another Masters after this program before applying to NP school. Are you looking into nursing at Arizona or anywhere else?
