Hello,
I applied to SLU's 2014 Accelerated BSN program and am waiting nervously for some sort of response from SLU. I know it is early in the acceptance process, but wanted to start a 'thread' to help aggregate acceptance responses from SLU.
Thanks!
hi krackley09! ive heard back from University of San Francisco and Western University of Health Sciences. i was invited to attend the early acceptance opportunity day at Western University for their MSN-E program and I got rejected from USF. im still waiting to hear from Cal State East Bay and Evergreen Valley college. as of now, im really leaning towards SLU due to the cost, length, and quality of the program. how about you? what other schools did you apply to?
I applied to SLU and Goldfarb School of Nursing which is in St. Louis as well. I was accepted to both but decided on SLU because I have heard nothing but great things about SLU and I was really impressed when I took a tour of the school of nursing! SLU is actually the more expensive option for me lol. But congrats on your acceptance to Western University! I am so excited to start I cannot wait!!!

i actually applied and was accepted to Goldfarb as well but I was put on the wait list and my entry date is not until Spring 2015. i really dont want to wait that long so i had my name removed from the waitlist. ive also heard a lot of good things about SLU and i watched a video of the campus on youtube and i was really impressed lol. i cant wait to visit the campus during orientation!
I applied to their upper division program and got offered a spot for summer 2014 but I've heard mixed things about the program and it was longer than SLU's. I'm ready to be done with school. Your wait was a long one!!! So you're going to orientation? If so, I can't wait to meet you! I'm wanting to get to know a few people before the program actually starts!
nice! i only applied to their accelerated program and i guess more people apply there than the upper division program. haha me too, i cant wait to get this over with and start working as a nurse. yeah im planning to go. i look forward to meeting you and everyone else! btw, do you know which areas around SLU are good places to live in? i plan on getting an apartment but im not familiar with missouri lol

I'm in STL and have several friends and family members that have attended SLU. I've heard nothing but good things about SLU and that's why I choose their program. Good luck deciding!
