What other shcools are represented?

I attend Wayne County Community College at the Western Campus. I am working on my Associate Degree in Registered Nursing. Should graduate in 2008.

I am currently attending Mott Community College. I am in my first year of clinical rotation and currently in my med/surg rotation.

How long did it take you to get into Mott's program? I am there right now taking classes, but I have heard the wait is awful, so decided to look elsewhere. I am pretty much down with most of the pre req's that schools ask for- every facility has some sorta catch out there? I really like Mott, but I really want to move on with my life ASAP. How do you like the program though, how difficult, how long did you wait, etc.?

It took me 2 years to get into the program. I just took my pre-req's and a few others and eventually my "number" was up! It did seem forever! I really like the program at Mott. I had started at OCC and couldn't understand any of my professors because of the language barrier?! Anyway, we do have some extremely hard professors at Mott but every clinical rotation that I have been on, the nurses have commented that Mott grads are "ready" for their nursing careers! I guess "Hard" professors can be a good thing sometimes? Good Luck to you and I hope that your number comes up real soon no matter where it is!!
