Does anyone know the texts we need for OB & Med-Surg II?

Thanks

Hi ya, I believe for M/S II we will still use our old textbook, it will carry thru all the M/S classes. We just need a new book for OB. I was in the bookstore the otherday, and they said they would have the correct books by August 6th.

Who do you have for M/S? I know everyone has to go thru Kennedy for OB.

Yes, I've heard we use IGGY for MS II. I was hoping to find out which text we needed for OB. I like to get my books online early. They're so much cheaper that way.

I've got MS first at GC w/Finkenbine. At the lottery it said Beaudry for lecture but on my printout, it says TBA & the catalog says staff, so who knows?

For OB, I'm at the mystery location w/Milton & Kennedy for lecture.

I am so glad I have days. And I love the way my schedule is broken up into 4 days. I just pray this mystery locale isn't across the state somewhere but I'll worry about that when the time comes.

Who do you have?

And congratz to you! We made it!:monkeydance:ONLY 3 terms to go!

Are you taking Pharm this summer? I hear it will be a big help for M/S II.

I have Kennedy for OB lecture first and my so called mystery location is... St. John Main Sat 6:30A-3:30P. They changed my days and everything! I was upset at first, but the plus side is. I have lecture 1 day per week and clinical 1 long day per week. 5 full days to just study about OB.

M/S II ( 2nd 7.5 weeks) I also have Finkenbine for clinical and Beaudry at the Eastern campus for lecture. I am not too thrilled for the drive to the Eastern campus 2/week, so a few classmates from the Western campus is thinking about carpooling.

Along with studying for Pharm, I am getting a jumpstart studying Chap 36 for the cardiovascular system. I got a course outline and I am actually making my own study guides....I know...GEEK!

CONGRATS to you as well for making it to semester 2!

By the way, I hear ya on the on-line books, I got my pharm book for $45.00! that is almost 1/2 off:monkeydance:

Hi DaMomma,

Yes, I'm taking Pharm with Caroline--I just love her. And am also taking Lifespan online. All my co-reqs will be complete then. Yay for me!

I've got the OB course outline but don't know what book it's describing. Lots to read though, I'll tell you.

And I've got tons of MSII notes which were passed on to me. (They are wonderful!) I've also started reading.

IMHO you have to be a GEEK if you want to make it!

If you like I can email what I've got to you.

No notes for OB yet (darn).

And I remember seeing that one day clinical--that's awesome! Is St. John's Main the hospital out near Grosse Pointe Shores? That's the furthest hospital from me. I'd definately have to keep telling myself, it's only 7 weeks...it's only 7 weeks... And we know those weeks fly by.

Well, I better go find where I list my email. I'm a newbie here & didn't get that far. lol

Good luck to us, aye?
