Got my acceptance letter!

I got my 'invitation' letter for Fall '07 @ HFCC!!!!!!!!

My orientation is April 13 and I register on April 16! The only hold-up I have is to retake the NET as mine has expired. I passed it on the first try so I can surely do it again!

I am so excited; I have been taking pre-req's since '04 so I am READY to begin my journey. My oldest will be in 1st grade and my son will be 2.5 so I am going to have to really encourage potty training!

I'll post after the meeting!

way to go !!! i got mine last week too!!!, my orientation same on 13th of april.. how do u know ur NET test expired? i took mine 2 years ago... do u think mine expired too? let me know... i'm goin to HFCC too.

Congrats!!! I am still awaiting for my letter from HFCC. I know they send out 3or so different batches of letters, depending on how many accept. Ive been on the list over a year so hopefully Im next! Please let me know how orientation went.

OP, do you already have your lpn? WHat is your other degree in? Are you worried about not having enough time for your kids? (I have 4) Are you working? How do you pay for daycare and school? Sorry for being nosy.

You're not being nosy at all! No, I have never worked in a medical setting before. I've worked in medical records in the past but that's not patient care. I have a B.A. in English from WSU. Yes, I am worried about how I will juggle the school/ kids thing but I have an amazing husband and extended family to watch my 2 year old. My daughter starts 1st grade when I begin so if she needs latchkey before/after school, it is available. I am also hoping to take my son on campus that is if he is potty-trained. We're working on that issue now; he's not so determined though. I am so over changing poopy diapers! :angryfire Daycare on campus is only $3.85 p hr so we can manage that. I have applied for financial aid. Not looking forward to more student loans but u gotta do what u gotta do!

140 letters have been sent out thus far, still another 80 pending. If u are accepted for Fall u should receive a letter by July so I've heard. I hope u get yours! It's frustrating waiting! And I will post about orientation -excited and nervous!
