    25 seems about right. My first job, I had about 30 to myself and after that, it was right around 20 at smaller facilities. The only time I had a manageable load was when I had one person to take care of in homecare. Good luck at your new job!

    I do something similar and it's running me to the ground. It isn't just class, it's homework and studying. I don't have any personal time or study time. I barely get things done for my classes. Don't stretch yourself too thin.

    My facility also has short shifts from 7-11am and 4-8pm in addition to the standard first, second, and NOC. You might be able to find a facility or home care agency that can work around your schedule for school.
