You can volunteer and meet as many nurses and hr managers and let it be known you're a nursing student and will be applying for a job when you graduate...while maintaining a good rapport as a volunteer..either way you should get a job... Good luck

That's a tough job...I commend you for owning up to your mistakes but its also hard working in a LTC and being a brand new aide or employee we are all bound to make mistakes...the best part is every time you show up to work you are learning something...

The fact you dont drive and have a car is probably limiting you...per-diem means you will work any shift not just daytime weekend hours...and they probably thinking if they hire you--you will be a no-show come winter time you should try and get a lic...
