Hi fellow nurses, I was hoping to find out some information on Texas Health Resources. I live out of state (but from Louisiana with family in Dallas) and am looking to move to the Texas area. So far I have only interviewed with THR while still wait...
I am also slated to start February 1st! I've had my ADN for 5 yrs almost and am now needing my BSN as many places we want to move are requiring it. I'm really hoping to finish in 6 months, we will see!
Does anyone work at a Baylor facility in Texas? We are relocating to Texas this summer and I'd like to apply. The only catch is they are magnet status and in all their job postings, it says BSN required. I have 4.5 yrs experience as a nurses and am...
This post is a little on the old side but I'm slated to start February. Working on getting everything together to start. I also Have to take statistics as well and another a&p class. Not sure if I can Test out of those fast or not!

I had 3 children before I was a nurse and not one of them breastfed. I am all for whatever gets the baby fed and I present that to all my moms. If they want to breastfeed, I do whatever I can to help them be successful, if they want to formula fee...

We typically have 4 couplets. Like pp said, when you mix in antepartums and nicu moms you may have 5 moms and 3 babies which to me is harder bc the moms are the hard ones. 3 couplets is super awesome and perfect. 4 can be really hard if you have a ...

I work mother baby and love it! But I fear it's not making me marketable as a nurse. I don't worry about it because if i am not on this field or a related one, I will choose not to work. I say work at a job that you are happy at!
