This would only be a though-out guess (I'm a student too), but I think maybe it's because of the decreased cardiac function produced by the drug, along with the side effect of peripheral vasoconstriction? What do you think?
I don't know how long I would last, but I know I wouldn't: lay my weapon down, turn my back on or poke a zombie I think is dead, call the names of people I'm looking for in a quiet, dark room, or run to the basement or roof.

To add to Ceccia's input, I think maybe the issue with "bring your husbands/wives" may also be excluding those who are simply single. It sounds like a married couples only party.
