  8. A patient's family member told me I should be a kindergarten teacher instead of an RN. They were very difficult to deal with and I had to try and often smooth over family dynamics. I don't know why it bothered me so much but it did.

    I work in Ltc and we put s/c sets in when we have a palliative resident. Saves them from being poked every half hour. It is not invasive. It takes less than a minute to insert.

    I am an RN in Ltc in canada and we administer dilaudid q1h and midazolam q30min both s/c for palliative care. I would never give anyone narcan at end of life. Our goal is for a comfortable pain free death.

    I work in Ontario Canada. I am an RN in long term care. I make 30.94 $/hour and have been there for eight months. I get 1 $/hr extra for nights, weekends and when i am the charge nurse which is every shift.
