Took the exam last week and passed on my first try. I used Lippincott Med Surg certification review, pockeprep MS practice questions (1,000 questions) and MSNCB 150 practice questions.

I currently work in one of the hospitals in LA right now and have previous work experienced from out of state. I am in awe when CNA's have limited work to do here. In my previous state CNA's can do accuchecks, do bladder scan etc.... Here in Californ...

Definitely do the EB3 route if you wanted to stay in the US in a long term basis or you want to settle here for good. Worldwide health solutions was my agency too before and the process was so smooth.

I came here in the US through EB3 immigrant sponsored visa. I applied for NCLEX thru New York Board of Nursing in 2016. No SSN required. They will issue you a license without SSN. Once you pass NCLEX look for an agency then take IELTS for Visa Screen...
OSCE is easy if you are prepared for it. Back in 2017 there was like 15 stations that you have to undergo. There are situational questions, there are procedures to that you have to perform like NGT insertion, 5 moments of hand hygiene, wound care etc...

I always bring a small flashlight with me since a work night shift and so I don't have to turn up the lights just to check on them. Stethoscope, clip board, my 5 in 1 pen, white board marker and a bandage scissor.

There is a heavy shortage of nurses here in the US pre covid. A lot of agencies are hiring Nurses with NCLEX since 2015 and it has not change until now.
