I finished my ADN June 2015 I was 25 i am now enrolled in RN-BSN and will graduate in Dec 2016 I will be 27 (birthday in September)
Hopefully you got in! I attend Itt Tech Canton, MI and I am entering in to Med-Surg 2 for the second time ( i missed it the first time by 0.5%). I know the feeling when you don't really know if you got in or not but just keep callin Mrs. Mason
This is not true I don't know who told you this information doesn't know what they are talking about. I am currently in the program and my clinicals have been at hospitals with the rest of the nursing students. Yes it cost 50,000 but if you already have pre-req done then it will be cheaper. What state are you in?
YES!!!! I love their program, we have small class size(30 students MAX) the instructors are wonderful, and yes it is hard but I don't believe any nursing school id easy. I believe if anyone who wants to be a nurse applies their self they will do just fine
Rose there is nothing to be scared about the instructors make you feel so comfortable. How do you enjoy the program so far?
Congrats to all of you just entering into the program this year!!!! I will be starting my second year this Fall and I love it so far. I will be in Med Surg 2 when I start in the Fall and I must say that Med-Surg 1 was truly the hardest class that I have taken only because there is sooooo much to remember. Clinicals were awesome, I was at DMC Harper Hospital.
Ok so I have my first clinical at Harper hospital and I am soooooooo nervous I was wondering if any of you out there have had clinicals at this location. I'm in Med-Surg and I need some advice!!!!
Well for me my GPA was a 3.77 at OCC and I still didn't get accepted bcuz they were retaking classes so what's the difference? I repay and end up paying more money to go to a community college? No I did what was best for me. My mother is an RN and she was the first graduating class from HFCC accelerated program and they were not accredited bcuz they had no graduating class yet. You only get accreditation by having a certain percentage pass rate for the NCLEX. My mother a RN has been a working RN and she was able to sit for her NCLEX with no problems. I also know that just like her many students that graduated from ITT Tech are already working in hospitals. So really it's all about what you want to do.
I am in my 2 quarter at ITT Tech and on the website it recently said that 4 of their campuses just had an 100% pass rate on the NCLEX but I can't seem to find what my locations NCLEX score was for last yr. So how do I find that out here in Michigan?
I just did my project on EBN and my topic was so easy but it was proper technique for handwashing some of my other classmates chose importance of PPE use and why it's important to do your 5 rights. Simple but we all got A's
The school was not super hard to get into all you do is call and ask to have your name placed on the list for orientation that they only have 3 times each semester(3times in spring 3 times in fall) you take the HESI(grammer, reading comprehension, math, and vocabulary) and whoever has the top 30 scores enter the program (my score was a 83.66% and I got in). My prior classes trasferred over(the pre-req are include in the program which is good for people just starting over) and it saved me at least $15,000. Hope you try to get in because I love it so far I'm so glad I made the choice to go to ITT Tech but im only in my 4th week ask me after my first quarter
@ TiffanyNurse2b (who is now a RN) thanks for the encouraging words. I just started at the Canton campus and I am going into my third week I love it so far!!!
@blt995 did u ever pass ur exit HESI they told me Tuesday at orientation that everyone passed on they're third time is that true?
