  1. Clinicals are not after the first 5 classes but that's when you have pharm and patho and many people were not doing well and they made it so you are not allowed to double up past these classes.
  2. Yes it is definitely doable to double up if you are disciplined
  3. WOW! congratulations! I am still waiting on my transcripts I was told after waiting weeks that I have to apply for my own transcripts and they want me to get this letter notified and send it to chamberlain. I sent them unofficial transcripts but they want official so my process has been extended once again. I'm kind of getting discouraged because I have been getting the run around so much. ?‍♀️
  4. I applied end of April and was conditionally accepted upon waiting for my transcripts. I have been waiting for my transcripts since May 1st.
  5. I am as well. Everything is taking so long since everyone is off for Covid-19.
  6. Anyone starting Chamberlain MSN-NP program online on July 6th?
  7. I finished my ADN June 2015 I was 25 i am now enrolled in RN-BSN and will graduate in Dec 2016 I will be 27 (birthday in September)
  8. Hopefully you got in! I attend Itt Tech Canton, MI and I am entering in to Med-Surg 2 for the second time ( i missed it the first time by 0.5%). I know the feeling when you don't really know if you got in or not but just keep callin Mrs. Mason
  9. This is not true I don't know who told you this information doesn't know what they are talking about. I am currently in the program and my clinicals have been at hospitals with the rest of the nursing students. Yes it cost 50,000 but if you already have pre-req done then it will be cheaper. What state are you in?
  10. Rose there is nothing to be scared about the instructors make you feel so comfortable. How do you enjoy the program so far?
  11. Congrats to all of you just entering into the program this year!!!! I will be starting my second year this Fall and I love it so far. I will be in Med Surg 2 when I start in the Fall and I must say that Med-Surg 1 was truly the hardest class that I have taken only because there is sooooo much to remember. Clinicals were awesome, I was at DMC Harper Hospital.
  12. Well for me my GPA was a 3.77 at OCC and I still didn't get accepted bcuz they were retaking classes so what's the difference? I repay and end up paying more money to go to a community college? No I did what was best for me. My mother is an RN and she was the first graduating class from HFCC accelerated program and they were not accredited bcuz they had no graduating class yet. You only get accreditation by having a certain percentage pass rate for the NCLEX. My mother a RN has been a working RN and she was able to sit for her NCLEX with no problems. I also know that just like her many students that graduated from ITT Tech are already working in hospitals. So really it's all about what you want to do.
  13. I just did my project on EBN and my topic was so easy but it was proper technique for handwashing some of my other classmates chose importance of PPE use and why it's important to do your 5 rights. Simple but we all got A's
  14. The school was not super hard to get into all you do is call and ask to have your name placed on the list for orientation that they only have 3 times each semester(3times in spring 3 times in fall) you take the HESI(grammer, reading comprehension, math, and vocabulary) and whoever has the top 30 scores enter the program (my score was a 83.66% and I got in). My prior classes trasferred over(the pre-req are include in the program which is good for people just starting over) and it saved me at least $15,000. Hope you try to get in because I love it so far I'm so glad I made the choice to go to ITT Tech but im only in my 4th week ask me after my first quarter
  15. @ TiffanyNurse2b (who is now a RN) thanks for the encouraging words. I just started at the Canton campus and I am going into my third week I love it so far!!!
  16. @blt995 did u ever pass ur exit HESI they told me Tuesday at orientation that everyone passed on they're third time is that true?
