   From what I have heard each year is different. Some years lots come off the waiting list and others only a few. I guess it makes sense that they could take students off the waiting list almost right up until start time depending on whether committed...

   Whew! Such a relief that they confirmed the arrival of your application. At least now you know everything is being processed. It took a long time for me to get my ID materials as well, since I am out of state (Nevada). All the best, NursePrac!
