That makes perfect sense. If cost is an issue I would take your core at GPC. I start the ASN program at NGCSU in August, but took all my core at GPC. The professors there are top-notch and the cost is a fraction of the four year schools. I would ...

Why do you not take classes and apply to GSU bachelors program? To be honest getting a BSN is preferred to a ASN. I'm getting my ASN at NGCSU, and GPC is great as well, but if you are already enrolled at GSU, why not apply there as well?
In my opinion and experience Dunwoody was great!!!! I really loved most of my professors. If you really want to be a nurse bad enough then you will do fine. I know for me it has always been a dream to be a nurse so I have put all my heart and soul...

WOW, what a big decision. The Medical College of Georgia is a great school. My brother went to med school there, but that was at the main campus which is in Augusta, GA. Augusta, GA is not a great place to live, and I believe you would suffer grea...
Here is my advice. It really matters where you want to go to nursing school, well sorta. If you want to go to North Georgia then I would take all your core there, because they don't require chemistry before you take A&P 1, 2 and micro. With th...
I will start the ASN program in August and I need some advise from recent graduates or second year students. I have finished all my core classes for the ASN program and have began to work on my BSN core. I want to know how difficult the first semes...
nrice28, I wanted to touch base with you since you have completed your first year of nursing school at the Lanier campus. CONGRATS!!! I start in August at the Lanier Campus. Can you answer some questions for me. Do you start clincals the first se...
I graduated high school 20 years ago with no career goals or path. I worked retail and at a dental office. After 5 years, I realized my job prospects were dreary without a college degree so I enrolled in a local college. Well life happened after tw...
I called on Monday to ask should I go ahead and schedule medical exam/drug test/etc and they told me to wait until we hear back from them. I emailed my intent letter over first thing Monday morning and paid my confirmation deposit as well. I don't w...
I got in!!!! Forsyth Campus, that is 5 mins from my house. This was a amazing day for me for so many reasons!!!! GOD IS GOOD!!!! For those waiting my stats were the the following, 3.78, teas V 75 A&P I A/B and A&P A/A.
Okay I have lost my mind. I dreamed last night I got my acceptance letter, but they wanted my parents to sign the form. My parents died over 10 years ago, so I was freaking out about what to do. How weird.
I sat on the porch today waiting for the mail lady and was so disappointed. I going to be a nervous wreck until we hear. My friend called today to ask if she should retake the teas and they told her that it would not matter, that they will not acce...
I'm hoping to get into the Forsyth Campus. I'm married and live about 5 mins from that location. However, I will be happy to get in at all. Let me know if you hear something and I will do the same.
I'm with you I could use some loving. With the cost of college I don't expect a big gift and to be honest that would be the best gift I could get. Good luck, I'm sure you are fine. I'll cross my fingers for you as well. Cheers, Mel
Hi ladies, I'm waiting as well. I'm hoping that like the 2009 starting class we might here around Valentines Day. My gpa is 3.76, but my teas was only a 74. I had A's in Chem, A/B in A&P 1 and A/A in A&P 2. I called last week and they sai...
