Hello! I am considering applying for the June 1st start date and was curious what your Science GPA and TEAS scores were when you got rejected as opposed to when you got accepted. I am just trying to decide if I should retake A&P as well!

I was curious for those who have applied to the Indiana WGU prelicensure program what was your Science GPA and TEAS score? I am hoping to apply for the June 1st start date but I have not taken the TEAS test yet and am afraid I may have to retake a class or two.

What state are you in? I am not sure how competitive Indiana's program really is.

I did go through the TEAS Study Manual but I guess I will just need to review the science portion a little more thoroughly. I'll be applying to Indiana's program.

I was curious what other WGU Prelicensure nursing students received on their TEAS V Exam and were accepted into the program? I took one of the online ATI TEAS Practice Exams last week and scored a 69% so I am a little bummed. I was not expecting there to be so much Chemistry and Earth Science on there, especially since I haven't taken those classes since high school.

Thank you for your response. I work for Community so I have heard a little about the school through them as well. It's great to know that the NCLEX pass rate is good. Do you by chance know how competitive the program is to get in? I don't have clinical experience and saw that there is an assessment that tests nursing skills prior to acceptance so I wasn't sure if this would hinder me getting into the program.

I was curious if anyone else has gone through or applied to WGU's Pre-licensure Nursing program? I was told by someone I work with that it is a good program, but was wanting some more feedback from others. I have a few more classes that I need to complete and I still need to take the TEAS test before I can apply, but was wanting other students' thoughts on the program. Any feedback is appreciated!!

I am currently attending the Ivy Tech-Indianapolis campus in hopes of getting into the Nursing program. When I enrolled, I was told that I had to get an A in both Anatomy classes to get accepted into the ASN program. Now that this semester is coming to an end, it looks like I am probably going to get a B in the class. My advisor told me a few weeks ago that I could still get in to the program as long as I do well on my TEAS test. However, I have heard from quite a few people in my class that they had to retake the course because they got a B the first time around. Has anyone gotten a B in either Anatomy class and been accepted into the ASN program at the Indianapolis campus? I have also thought about applying to the Anderson campus or IUPUI if all else fails but I am really starting to worry!! Any

Does anyone have any recommendations on nursing schools in Indiana, preferably one that is somewhat flexible with their classes?

I have heard that Ivy Tech's nursing program is difficult to get into, that is what scares me about going there. The flexibility of their classes is nice though. Do you know when you are able to apply for Ivy Tech's nursing program, or do you have to take your prerequisites first? Thank you for your input and good luck!!

I was wondering if anyone knew of any nursing schools in Indiana that are somewhat flexible with their hours? Almost all of the schools that I have checked out are Monday through Friday 8-4 sort of thing. It is hard attending school those hours and working with two kids. I have thought about MedTech but I have not heard too many good things about them. Does anyone know of any other schools or is there anyone who has attended MedTech for the nursing program and had a positive outcome? I would appreciate any input because I would really like to find a school soon!!

    Thank you

I am very very interested in going to nursing school and becoming a nurse. However, in 2008 I was convicted of a Class C Misdemeanor for Minor Consumption of an alcoholic beverage. I never drink so this just so happened to be a one time thing. I have never even done any kind of drug in my life. Does anyone know if this will stop me from getting my nursing license, or has anyone been in a similar situation?? Please help!!
