I just was hired as a new grad for Baylor, and I know it contradicts anything you read on here, but they offered me: $26 base $5 nights (considered 10:30pm-4:30am) $6 weekends (no evening) I was thrilled!
I was offered the Postpartum spot, but declined it today after receiving an offer at Baylor L&D. I was told there was only one spot on PP, so if you've applied and were told you didnt get it, there still could be hope!! Congrats to everyone about...

DFW is a very tough market for new grads. I (finally) was hired at Baylor for a new grad position and was offered $26/hour with 5 for night and 6 for weekend in differentials. I'll take it!

Yeah Ive dealt with parklands hiring system for over a year now and there is little merit to those automated emails, especially if you've heard otherwise from a recruiter. I've gotten emails saying I was no longer being considered when I hadn't yet i...

Yeah, this site is awesome! Welcome! : ) Its my understanding that the contract is a mandatory thing - that if you are offered the internship, the 2 year contract is expected of you. I found out on Friday that I wasn't selected for the L&D positi...
I went to a school that endorsed Saunders and Lippencott, both are great books. For me, I learned best by doing question after question, and learning from reading not just the answer, but also the rationale. I feel i soaked up more tidbits of useful ...

I interviewed today in L&D. It was two of the unit managers. They started off telling me about the internship and then went into the "dreaded" questions. There was about 4 scenario based questions starting with "tell me about a time when..." My ...
