I agree with dienne. how can one be certified in something that they have no experience in? Keep you head up and be persistent. I was applying for 1 1/2 years before I got an offer for a new grad position.

@snuggles33: i do have 18 months of experience. unfortunately not acute care, but I've been able to rise up from a newbie nurse to a supervisor/resource nurse role

got some info for those who applied: the manager is conducting interviews till aboutthe 18th and people could receive job offers as early as the 19th! I heard that they narrowed down the candidates from about 150 to 30 candidates! good luck everyone!
