I've been hired by Kaiser as a clinic LVN in the inland empire. There are more openings and postings all the time. My friend in San Diego also is working as an LVN at Kaiser, but through a registry. To my knowledge, there are no plans to shuffle aro...

I didn't work when I did mine. Lots of women did. It was harder for them, and their grades weren't as high as the ones that didn't, but I realized that we "all" became nurses, no matter what we did along the way..... If you can balance work, time to ...

I wasn't looking for a post reply "to my liking". I was simply trying to figure out the real deal with Kaiser. It is obvious that different areas have different things going on. I appreciate all of the replies and assistance in my quest for answers....

I have worked in 2 different clinic settings. It is common practice for scripts to be filled out by the LVNs and MAs. One office looked at the Rx and then signed it. The other clinic the Drs. trust you to know how to write it as they say it. Thats ju...

I'm an LVN in a pain management clinic. I work pre-op putting in IVs (with an IV cert), and I also work in recovery taking out the IVs, charting, and making sure they are ok to leave. The only thing I don't do is push the abx if they need them prior ...

Thanks for the reply, I was wondering how they handle the clinical portion. Are you in California? How much does the program run? How long does it usually take? Is it at your own pace? Thanks for the discussion! Crickett
