Try applying for the third floor med/surg position and apply for every med/surg position that posts. I know in the past that they have hired new grads for positions that didn't specifically say "new grad'.

New grad jobs are hard to come by in Sacramento. I would suggest branching out a little bit. Try Lodi, Yuba City, or Chico. Once you have a little experience it will be easier to get a job in Sacto.

It expires 2 years from your birthday so it differs depending on when your birthday is. Mine was issued March 2008 and my birthday is in August. Mine expires Sept 2009.
