    this question is for my friend who started at kaiser last month at telemetry/stroke unit.he still on orientation.he failed his ekg test twice unfortunately.the administrator/manager of the unit told him not to attend the floor orrientation for now and must wait for the decision of the human resource.is he fired or will he downgrade to a non monitor unit??

    just have a question.any positive or neGATIVE comment is allowed.to those experienced nurses,which would you prefer,high salary or good benefits?

    im currently working full time on one of the hospitALS at dignity health.just started last january.most of my workmates who have been there for a long time is ssaying that the benefits are good and salary is competetive.i also got hired per diem at kaiser.honestly speaking,the salary when i was still per diem at dignity was higher compared to the one at kaiser.benefit wise, not sure yet.if kaiser is gonna open a full time spot.would i gave up the other one or switch to per diem maybe?

    the recruiter never told me that they are not interested.the last thing he said is "HANG IN THERE".
    actually i have 2 full time jobs.planning to quit the other just in case i got hired at kaiser because of the benefits which the other place doesnt offer.

    hello allnurses.

    i just have a question. I had a phone interview from a recruiter at kaiser a month and a half ago.everything went well.the recruiter told me that he will give me updates 1 week after i had my phone interview.after a week,i didnt get any updates,i had to call the recruiter 2-3 weeks after the phone interview.he told me that he was on leave thats why he wasnt able to update me and he hasnt heard anything yet from the managers.2-3 weeks ago from today i called him and asked about my status.He just told me to hang in there and he will notify me of any updates.If im not hired,will he update me right? because right now im still in the waiting game and not sure if kaiser will do an actual interview on me? any experience on kaiser?

    im currently working at hpmc in los angeles.i got an email from ****** from ucla,Human resource.its regarding the position which i applied for < med/surg/tele >.when I called HR, she told me that the interviewing manager has no schedule yet for me to be interviewed yet. my question is, if given the chance to be hired < wishful thinking >, what will i do with my other job?hehe

    im planning to transfer from med surge to icu hopefully next year but one of the requirement is taking the critical care certificate.just want to ask if there is a class in los angeles area? on the website hpproviders.com, there is a class but its in garden grove and there is no schedule yet for their class in los angeles. any help is appreciated.

    i have a friend who worked in a hospice 3 years ago.she only worked there for less than a year.she told me that 2 people from fbi and health department went to her home and showed some paperworks that she made before during her visit.some of the paperworks has some erasures,assessments that she didnt made.she is thinking that the peolpe in hospice did the editing without her knowledge.she was upset of what had happenened and she is fearing that she will lose her licence.

    hello nurses.i just want to ask if which shift is preferable if you have a 6 mos old baby? i have 2 jobs right now. i work nights on my full time job and on my per diem, im scheduled on days.i want to switch to days because i feel that i dont have time anymore with my wife and son because i sleep most of the time on my day off.any suggestions guys.

    which kindred is that? im working at kindred hospital but its not a sub acute.its more of a long term acute hospital.they don't do credit check in ouir place.

    my wife will be giving birth on july/august,my question is how many weeks will the hospital allow me to be off and how many weeks will i get paid?who do i need to notify? I have 2 jobs.Im almost 2 years on my other job and i just started on my other job last feb.im not sure if they are gonna allow me to take time off for a while to attend to my wife's needs as well as with the new born baby.advice please.thanks! =)
