I am going to be taking my NCLEX-RN exam in Iowa but I have epilepsy. My doctor filled out a form saying I need to take the exam long hand due to computers being one of the stimulants that give me grand mal seizures. Exactly who do I need to send my doctor's form to? Will I be able to take the exam long hand and not on a computer? If anyone can give me some information I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you very much.

The NCLEX-RN exam is a national test, right? I have a friend who told me that Iowa is the hardest state to pass your nursing boards in. He told me to find an easier state. I thought that the NCLEX is the same test no matter what state you take it in. Who is right here?

Here is my situation. I graduated from a nursing school in Iowa but am moving to Texas. I need to know how to transfer all my information to the Texas Board of Nursing from the Iowa Board of Nursing. What kind of paper work do I need? How long do you have to wait to take your NCLEX in another state if you move? If anyone can give me some information I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you very much.

Congrats! I have to say that you are an inspiration. I am currently debating if I want to re-take my NCLEX-RN for the fourth time. I am starting to believe that I wasted three years of my life in nursing school. I feel like giving up but I want to be a nurse so bad. I mean I have never pictured myself doing anything else but nursing. So, thank you for giving me hope. Congrats again.

Hello my name is Samantha. I took my NCLEX-RN in December 2006 and did not pass. I am studying harder now but I am becoming more and more scared of taking the test again. I don't know what I would do if I fail again. I am just wondering, how many times should you take the NCLEX-RN before you give up on your dream of being a nurse?

Hello my name is Samantha and I need some help. Here is my problem: I took my NCLEX-RN in Iowa and did not pass and now I want to take my NCLEX-RN in Illinois. How do I transfer my personal information from Iowa to Illinois so I can take my boards? Is there is phone number I can call for more information?
