  2. Scared of Hep B vaccine

I know how you feel. I have a terrible phobia about being on the receiving end of a needle. But I did take the 3 shot series and had no problems. I would rather experience a little soreness after the shots than contract Hep B.
  3. Raise?

I have gotten a total of 8.5% this year. In May, at the time of my eval, I got a paltry 3.5%. then the pay scales were revised and I got an additional 5%. I work in a non-union facility. No bonus!

  11. How did nursing ever "buy into" 12-hr shifts???

I've been working 7A-7P for a long time now. I like them because of the extra days off and I get to work every third weekend instead of every other weekend. I am over 40 but still feel that I can keep up the pace. I only have to do 3 in a row ever...
  12. 12 Hour Shifts

I just got off of 3 12 hour shifts in a row and have been totally exhausted all day. I got a call to see if I would work some extra today and said no, I was too exhaused and I'll be darned if I didn't get called later with the same request. I coul...
