Who is your software vendor for 3.0?

My facility is Pointclickcare. I am having a hard time adjusting from the 2.0 to 3.0. The old one seemed more streamline and user friendly. There seems to be more intricate things going on in 3.0. The one thing I absolutely find great is the RAI manual is loaded right in there.

PS I am neither looking for bashing or endorsements of vendors. Just conversation on other's experiences.

We use Momentumhealthware and love them as our software vendor. I have no experience with AHT.

We use VistaKEANE, not sure what I think of it yet as am new to MDS and have never used any other application for it :)

I know the name of the site is ALL nurses, and I am not a nurse, but this is the only place I could find people really talking about the MDS 3.0 software. I am the Social Worker for a 60 bed facility, and our DON is our MDS coordinator. We are using American Healthtech software, and it started out as a nightmare, and is still a fairly major pain in our rear ends.

Another local facility I called has had good luck with Newtech, which is what they use for their whole system, and the MDS software is part of it. Does anyone here use it? Have you had good luck with it.

American Healthtech seems to have released theirs without any testing, and ... I don't even have time to list what all went wrong. They are still sending out frequent patches, and each patch seems to cause one or more new problems. This week, I can't enter information on the first Care Area Assessment page.

Bah.

If I can find some good software, I am going to talk (constantly) to our Administrator about changing companies. He seems open to it, for no other reason than the hours that staff puts into fussing with this program.

sunnyco. I use American Healthtech and don't find it too bad, some issues but not to bad. I was using Accucare and it also was released without testing. I think they all were!! I know that when I email the support center I get help quicker than if I call. IMHO, I think all the MDS programs have their issues. I think MDS Cares (LTC Solutions) is probably the worse. LOL.
