Anyone starting SP07 RN associate degree at BHCC?

U.S.A. Massachusetts

Hello everyone!

After doing my pre-req for about a year and a half, I FINALLY got myself into a nursing program at BHCC! :balloons: Wow, it was a loooong way. I am so excited to start my nursing education and wanted to know if there is anyone who is starting SP08 semester at BHCC...?

Also, I have a general question: I need to get a CPR certification before starting clinical. What kind of CPR certification do I need? And, where can I get it? How much would it cost...? I guess all these would be explained at the orientation, but since I will be leaving the country for big chunk during the winter break, I wanted to be proactive and start getting ahead with this... Please help!

Good luck to everyone and have a wonderful day! ;)

Thanks,

Yoko

I'm not sure about the number of minorities they look at to let into the program......but I am a male , got a 88 on the TEAS, had around a 3.4 GPA and still didn't get in! This was 3 years ago so I dont know what has changed. After applying twice i gave up and was accepted to my second choice school. Someone told me that due to the number of applicants (300 back then), having a prior degree helps alot.

did you had your prereqs and coreqs at the time of application? i already took the test and im dying to know
