  1. Hello everyone, I'm almost done with my nursing school!! Woooray! :yeah:Since I have a bachelor in different field, I did a 2 year ADN program in Boston, MA. I'm an international student and unfortunately, US government is not giving out work visa to us after graduation... So, I was wondering if anyone knows any foreign countries that RN can work! :redbeathe Is there any...? Any info will be appreciated! Thanks! Yoko
  2. OH! ergito2, It is so nice to hear from someone who actually graduated from the program! :wink2: Where did you do your clinical? Also, can you give me some advise for me in case studying gets really tough and painful? Thanks! Yoko
  3. Hello edogs334, Thank you so much for your detailed info! I really appreciate it Have a great day! Yoko
  4. Thanks for your comment spudbunny! Good luck with your application process, I know it could be such a pain in the neck and nerve-wracking sometimes... But it's all worth it PS, I am in the day program. Thanks for your info spinninkim! I have heard about the hospital from someone who is already in the program that it's a good place to get a CPR certification. I think I will try to go there~! Thanks! :heartbeat
  5. Hello everyone! After doing my pre-req for about a year and a half, I FINALLY got myself into a nursing program at BHCC! :balloons: Wow, it was a loooong way. I am so excited to start my nursing education and wanted to know if there is anyone who is starting SP08 semester at BHCC...? Also, I have a general question: I need to get a CPR certification before starting clinical. What kind of CPR certification do I need? And, where can I get it? How much would it cost...? I guess all these would be explained at the orientation, but since I will be leaving the country for big chunk during the winter break, I wanted to be proactive and start getting ahead with this... Please help! Good luck to everyone and have a wonderful day! Thanks, Yoko
  6. Hi Beth, Thank you very much for your info! I checked out the website you mentioned. There were many schools I would like to contact. Also, there are many info that I wanted to know. Thank you! :) Hi Epiphany, Yeah, there are a couple of schools that offer nights and weekend classes though it is very competitive so I hear. BMCC and LIU to mention a few... I know it's gonna be tough to work and go to school... But I'll not be the only one! And I don't see why I can not do it! Thank you for your reply. I feel so good that I posted on this site! I'll be so determined to find the one that fit my schedule and I'm gonna really do this! I AM GOING to be a nurse! Woof woof! Best wishes to all, Yoko
  7. Hello everyone. Thank you for taking your time to read my post. I have been trying to find a good nursing school to go to for a while. And I did not think it would be that hard.
