Anne Arundel CC - past, current, or prospective students?

I am hoping to begin at AACC in January and just wanted to get any insight or feedback from poast/current students or connect with anyone in process.

I am second degree, working toward a CNM down the road, and chose AACC because I did my pre req's for UMB there and ended up loving it! I love the small campus, very close to home, the professors and staff, and I have heard such great things about the graduates from local health professionals. (I sold pharmaceuticals in my previous career, so I poked around a bit.) I was completely sold when they offered me a scholarship which will cover almost my entire tuition cost.

So...while it would have been shorter time wise to go to Baltimore, I am quite content with what will be my great, practically free education in my own backyard! :wink2:

Jenn, I was wondering if you could tell me a little bit more about the 4th semester. On the AACC website it doesn't really go into detail on what is covered that last semester. Thanks!

Telemetry, critical care, leadership and community service are all covered in the 4th semester.

I also hear alot of good things about the nursing program at AACC. Right now i am going there for my pre-reqs and hopefully will be apply for there nursing program 2011. Luckly for me i live in AAC.
