New career, new hopes

So. My career's future ended in Dec when we were told that my plant would be shutting down in March. The nearest(?) facility that does my type of work is in Arizona. Moving away from my family and everything that I know is not an option.

My current plans are to be Mr. Mom (while my savings lasts) and to enter a nursing program. I've been accepted into a local college and am working on my pre-reqs. My level of education at this point is a GED that I recieved in 91'. (I know what you're thinking. But at that age I already knew everything and couldn't be told anything. I'm sure that I wasn't the only one.)

Anyways. I've read this site many times and decided to drop in and say 'Hello. I'm a student now and would like to participate!'
